Chancel Choir welcomes all singers, regardless of expertise and experience, to help us “make a joyful noise” as the psalmist says.  Please join us and see what joy there is in singing praises to God and helping lead Lynnewood in worship. The Chancel Choir is open to all from ages high school and older.

When: 7:30 pm Wednesdays from mid-August through mid-June

Handbell Choir  Ringing handbells is different from any other musical experience because of the interaction between ringers. The melody passes from player to player. It is so much fun to learn new techniques and present them to an unsuspecting congregation. The Handbell Choir is an experienced intergenerational group of ringers open to ages 6th grade and up. New ringers are welcome! However, due to the current ringing level of the group, it is recommended that you have previous handbell experience.

When: 6:30-7:20pm Wednesdays during the school year. (unless otherwise noted in the calendar)
Where: Lynnewood Choir Room

The Joyful Noise Choir is open to children from age 4 through grade 2. No singing experience necessary. The emphasis is on having fun learning simple songs of God’s love and care and on learning some of the basics of singing and being in a choir.

Sunshine Choir is open to all children in grades 3-8, regardless of musical experience. As part of this choir, children become familiar with some of the classic hymns of faith and learn songs to share in worship.

Christmas Ensemble Do you play an instrument? Whether you “bow or blow” your way through the music, whether you are rusty, a beginner, or an accomplished instrumentalist, your services are welcome. Consider participating in The Lynnewood Christmas Ensemble.

Rehearsals begin in early December and the ensemble usually performs on the Sunday before Christmas.
