Rev. Dr. Henry Kim, Pastor
On Sunday, July 2, 2017, Lynnewood welcomes the Reverend Dr. Henry Kim as our new pastor. Pastor Henry is a gifted and experienced pastor who has served for 26 years in Northern California in both local church and campus ministry settings. He is a practiced leader and preacher with a rich experience in community engagement and age level ministries. As a church leader and developer, he is uniquely gifted to lead Lynnewood into an era of vibrant growth. He answered the call to the ministry after receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State and working in data networking.
Among many other assignments, he has served at Grace UMC in San Ramon, as Director of the Wesley Foundation campus ministries at UC Berkeley, and most recently at Trinity UMC in Sunnyvale. Pastor Henry and his wife have been Pleasanton residents for many years and raised 2 children.

Rev. Diana Marie Bohn, Minister to Children and Youth
Diana is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church and a certified Minister of Education with 26 years in ministry within the California-Nevada Annual Conference.
Diana began working with children at her church in Texas when she was in junior high school. Her energy and creativity are both challenged and nourished by the energy and enthusiasm of young people. She joined Lynnewood full-time in October, 2009.
Prior to her appointment to Lynnewood, Diana served New Community UMC in Oakhurst and Wesley United Methodist Church in Fresno. She has also served in the Fresno District office of the United Methodist Church and as the Community Organizer for the Central Valley Gay-Straight Alliance Network. She graduated in 1982 from the Boston University School of Theology.
Diana has written Sunday School curriculum for the United Methodist Publishing House and Friendship Press. She enjoys writing, team sports, and as a young adult competed internationally in soccer.
Diana is married to Grady Knowles. Her son, Jonas, recently graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
