Sunday School

2012 Sunday school kickoff

On Sunday School Kickoff, adults form an arch for children to walk under from Children’s Moment out to Sunday school.

Sunday school is offered during the school year for all ages preschool through adults, and in the summer for children, pre-K through high school.

Children:
Children attend Sunday school during the 10:30 am service hour (9:30 am in the summer) with small classes and a lot of attention. Initially, children stay with their parents through the Children’s Moment shortly into the service, after which they leave for Sunday school. All classes are in the education building across the courtyard from the church.

Children’s Offering Will Raise The Roof On A School In Uganda
Every coin and dollar that children put into the offering basket on Sunday mornings during the Children’s Moment will contribute to a denominational wide effort to support children and education in Uganda. In the village of Lusaka there are no schools except for the one being built by “Raise The Roof,” an organization dedicated to educating the children of Uganda. All funds collected through the month of December will support this effort.
